There are many benefits for Unitec students using our Centre:
- A lower fee especially for Unitec students.
- The convenience of having your child on campus and being able to visit them throughout the day.
- Some flexibility with your child’s hours.
- 20 ECE Hours Free - we have a small number of sessions available, free to student families. These are either morning or afternoon session. Please ring Janice Markham on 09 846 0233 for more information.
- We have a commitment to Unitec to make affordable childcare available to all students and staff. You may be entitled to additional help through Studylink. This information can be found in the Student Service area of the Unitec Campus. We can support you in completing your forms and making the process as simple as possible.
- December and January are fee-free if you are still studying in the following year.
- An additional 10 weeks is available for just 50% of the normal fee.
- Delicious cooked meals are provided for your child.

- A childcare discount for staff members.
- As we are located on campus at gate 4, you can be close to your children all day and pop in and see them if you wish.
